Jennifer Murphy

Jennifer Murphy is a speech-language pathologist who has provided services to children and their families in school, clinic, and home-based settings for over 20 years. Jennifer was born and raised in Pleasanton and graduated from Amador Valley High School. She then graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a degree in Communications and received her Speech-Language Sciences and Disorders graduate training at California State University, Hayward.

She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license in speech-language pathology from the State of California. She also holds a Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Jennifer has two daughters who attend Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton and her husband is a teacher in the Pleasanton Unified School District.

Joelle Kupras

Joelle Kupras

Joelle Kupras is a speech-language pathologist who has provided services to children and their families in school, clinic, and home-based settings for over 20 years. Joelle received her graduate training at Emerson College in Boston, holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license in speech-language pathology from the State of California. She also holds a Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

In addition to her experience working with various speech, language and communication disorders, Joelle also has additional training and experience in aural habilitation for children with cochlear implants and in early intervention for children ages 0-3 and their families. She has also received training in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and the SCERTS model and is knowledgeable in Signed Exact English (SEE sign).

Our aim is to help our clients become the most independent and efficient communicators possible by developing functional and meaningful treatment programs. Families and caregivers are encouraged to take an active role in program planning and intervention.
